I (Liz) went to visit Hannah in St. Louis this last weekend (Sat. - Tues.) and it was so amazing! We had a blast and definitely did some crazy things for our birthdays again this year... Here are some of MY highlights from the trip down/over there. (Hannah, feel free to add any on.)

- Seeing Pride and Prejudice... It was so beautiful!!
- Trying to mingle off a free dessert on my birthday... "Oh, caramel!"
- Ummm, dyeing our hair crazy-fun colors!
- My psycho hick-ups
- Mad-Gab by the fireplace at 11pm
- Haha, trying to sneak into Hannah's bed and in the process kind of pushing her out... I love that girl...
- Poems that are... special and surprising... Even to the one who wrote them.
- Matching silk pj pants!
- Iron Chef
- Crazy sales people attacking Hannah in the mall.
- Flat out getting to be with my best buddy for almost 4 days!

Wahoo for these girls being ...

- unable to finish thoughts
- able to understand one another's unfinished thoughts
- 34 days away from seventeen
- complete and total goobers
- females in the most femalish form
- 70% male (hah ... I know this kind of clashes with the above point ... but it works out. Trust me.)
- way different from one year ago
- like sisters

Things the dynamic duo are thankful for:

¤ turning seventeen in 3 and a half short months
¤ Tilt 'n Whirls at Power Play
¤ dancing like spazzes
¤ each other!
¤ weird, yet amazing, talents
¤ documentaries
¤ our boys
¤ Le..... Lo....s
¤ praying before meals
¤ odd things people do while asleep
¤ Layna at Starbucks!
¤ that Christ is the center of our relationship
¤ our "raggedy" walks ... haha

"You can have kids with out kissing! You can't get a job though..."

PS: Monica -- I like you alot, and am relying on those visits to St. Louis. There'll always be a) an open twin bed (semi-occupied) or b) a mattress under the semi-occupied twin bed (empty). And no worries; I'm not gonna forget all my sweet Kansan friends very easily ... and my visits won't get farther and farther apart. I promise.

Yesterday I finally picked up my pictures from spring break and another roll from a couple months ago. Some of them are so random, but I'm so glad we took them. It's amazing the power pictures have isn't it? One still moment in time can mean more than alot of things I think. Anyway, this is an ode to most of all Hannah, but I'll be in a couple of them too. Haha. Thanks for every kind word and "I'm praying for you guys" these last couple days! I know it's meant alot to me and more than anyone can say to Hannah. We love you all!
-Liz

P.S. The reason we look so pale in the one's without green hair is because we basically were starving to death... Not on purpose.

Thought of the week: Trust God. He knows what He's doing and will make everything turn out alright. He will provide for all of our needs... But in all actuality - all we need is Him. He is enough.
